Miriam Jans
Miriam Jans is an author of picture books for children aged 2-8 years.
Originally from Germany, Miriam lived in New Zealand, Great Britain and Australia the past seven years before returning to Germany in late 2020.
Her inspiration for The Animal Alliance Series stems from Miriam's deep love and curiosity for children, nature, animals and foreign cultures which she has always dreamt to create something with.
Miriam's first book of the series, Henry & The Super Chillies was officially released in October 2018. The second book and first story about Shu the Snake will be ready for print soon.
Complementing her experience in hospitality, retail, publishing, event-management and many others, Miriam has researched animal agriculture, health, nutrition and the benefits of a plant-based diet in her free time. She lives on an 95 % raw vegan diet since June 2020 to cure her eczema.
Miriam lives near Karlsruhe, Germany and continues to work for her dream of a natural lifestyle somewhere, someday (hopefully back in Australia) in the Green.
