Miriam Jans

Miriam Jans is a new author of picture books for children aged 2-8 years.
Originally from Germany, Miriam now lives in Australia thanks to meeting and falling in love with her partner at a Christmas lunch back in 2016. Miriam's path since has developed into a more conscious lifestyle full of creativity, laughter and doing what she believes in.
Her inspiration for The Animal Alliance Series stems from Miriam's deep love and curiosity for children, nature, animals and foreign cultures which she has always dreamt to create something inspiring for the future generations with.
Miriam's first book of the series, Henry & The Super Chillies was officially released in October 2018. The second book and first story about Shu the Snake is being illustrated and available for preorder!
Complementing her experience in hospitality, retail, publishing, event-management and many others, Miriam has researched animal agriculture, health, nutrition and the benefits of a plant-based diet intensely in her free time.
Miriam lives in Melbourne, Australia with her partner Simon. She is currently studying Event Management and Permaculture Design to support the many endeavours she partakes in as well as their shared dream of a self sustainable lifestyle somewhere in the Green.
